The project was the refurbishment of a three storey maisonette above a shop for a private developer in South Kensington. The run-down property was fully refurbished on a tight budget to appeal to the affluent rental market in central London. The redesign included new landscaping to the rear garden as well as a full interior redesign including a refurbished kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms and a clever use of an under stairs cupboard as a guest WC. The project also included the installation of a contemporary ‘hole-in-the-wall’ fireplace in the main living space. The property has been successfully rented out.
