CamillinDenny were approached in the summer of 2008 to develop a feasibility study for a contemporary, one-off dwelling on this rural and elevated site in West Sussex.
The practice developed three options which focused upon making the most of stunning views over the South Downs whilst meeting a brief including four bedrooms, a contemporary open plan living space, workshop, pool and poolhouse. The scheme is proposed to include a combination of sustainable energy systems including ground source heat pump, solar thermal panels and rainwater harvesting.
